Tamarind by Elegant Hotels is an all-inclusive resort on the West coast of Barbados, ideal for couples and families. The hotel offers 101 guestrooms and suites on three floors, blending Mediterranean influences with casual Caribbean styles. Most of the rooms boast spectacular views of one of Barbados’ most pristine stretches of beach from their private patio or balcony.
Tamarind is particularly suited to those seeking a resort hotel with a choice of restaurants, regular evening entertainment, complimentary water sports and a stunning beachfront setting. This all-inclusive property includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, and all-day dining, including afternoon tea. The property offers three dining options that include the informal, beachfront tapas restaurant & bar, the Rilaks Deck, which has a chilled-out feel as well as the 246 Bar & Restaurant and the Sugar Cane Room.
This resort is closed for renovation from 15 July 2024 to 24 July 2025.

Children are extremely welcome at Tamarind. The hotel provides children’s menus and an early supper, highchairs and cots. Babysitting can also be arranged at an extra charge.
For Children: The Flying Fish welcomes children aged 3–12 years at the state-of-the-art Kids Club, open Monday to Saturday from 9:00 am - 9:00 pm. The club is operated by trained, professional staff with a wide range of fun-filled, supervised activities.
For Teens: Club Tamarind offers contemporary loungers where friends can hang out. Modern video game consoles on large screen TV’s and age-appropriate entertainment keeps even the most discerning teen busy.
Bajan Adventure Camp: - activities designed for children up to 16yrs, the Bajan Adventure Camp offers one excursion per day at an additional cost (2 activities chosen from Atlantis Submarine, Horseback riding, Harrison’s Caves or Catamaran and Swimming with Turtles). Extra days can be added. Children under 10yrs can participate but need to be accompanied by an Adult

Weddings
Weddings can be arranged by the hotel in a choice of pretty locations. Receive a free wedding package when booking any three rooms for a minimum of five nights or when booking a Deluxe Ocean Front Room or higher category for a minimum of seven nights. This cannot be combined with any other special offers.
The Standard Wedding Package is available to book at any other time and for guests booking less rooms or shorter stays. A Renewal of Vows package is also available. Call us for full details.

Honeymooners receive a free honeymoon package if booking a Deluxe Ocean Front Room or a higher category for at least seven nights.
